Post-Whitsun Update

Hi Everyone!

We have had a busy few weeks here at Hatfield...

here's an update of what we have been up to!

LEDBURY OUTING

We had a wonderful outing last week to Ledbury where we discovered lots of interesting finds including an apothecary, lovely book shops, Tinsmiths gift and fabric shop, original victorian printmakers, a chocolate shop and art galleries!

Not to mention the food!

We highly recommend a day trip for anyone who enjoys a good old mooch in a lovely old town with creative inspiration all around!

Art days

After returning from Ledbury feeling rather inspired we allocated a few days to get creative and explore possibilities for our own art work in the showroom. Rachel bought a wonderful book by Mark Hearld and we have been experimenting with Lino-printing and all manner of media to design greetings cards to sell!

Interiors Project

Here's a recent completed project where we needed to come up with a combination to dress the wide patio doors and side window in this living room. We decided on a simple contemporary style that complimented the furnishings and did not detract from the beautiful views outside. As the side window is not full length we dressed it with roman blinds in the same material as the main body of the curtains and used a contrast fabric for a pelmet over the blinds and a panel across the top of the curtains...

thus creating a simple but smart solution to these different sized windows.
